Renovation and COnstruction
The team came across the interesting property last year and turned down the opportunity to purchase. But when it came up again the following year, the timing suited perfectly to purchase and renovate just in time for the season.
We wanted to keep the charm of the ruins look downstairs but give the property a good overhaul. First things first- the STAIRCASE!
From a very tight and steep staircase, the engineers designed a more functional and flowing stairway for guest comfort and suitability.
The kitchen was given a freshen up with new cupboards, and rangehood as well as appliances whilst the bathroom needed a modern touch and we replaced all tiles, shower and vanity giving it a well deserved upgrade.
The whole apartment was repainted and a feature TV unit installed and a feature wooden balustrade to the staircase.
Downstairs was all repainted, the walls fixed and the timber sideboards all replaced. The "ruins" was given a gel lacquer to preserve it and still continue to show off the ancient ruins feel.
The property in its first summer performed well with guests enjoying the two levels and in a location that was prime for tourists and locals alike
